Timing is everything, especially when it comes to sex. If it's too early, too late, or your just not feeling it anymore – finding the right time is half the battle.
But you don't have to wonder anymore, as U.K. store Superdrug conducted a study to find out the best – and the worst – times to have sex.
It's important to take into account this study only surveyed couples in relationships. If they surveyed singles, there's no doubt their favourite time would be 4 a.m. after one too many vodka shots.
After surveying 2,000 people, the results showed the most popular time of the week to have sex is 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We understand this might be a little early for some, but the early bird catches the worm, right?
But overall, the most popular day to have sex is Saturday, with the times of 11:30 a.m., 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. also polling well.
Weekdays on the other hand were far less exciting, with the least popular time for sex going to Tuesday at 9 p.m., with 5.30 p.m. also finishing down in the dumps. No one enjoys an after-work romp, it seems.
In saying that, pre-work sex wasn't a huge hit, either. Monday at 8 a.m. and Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. also featured in the least favourite times, and we'll probably put that down to morning breath alone.
