Dominic Banks, a personal trainer from Oregon, is the brain behind the Booty Belt phenomenon. He says it was designed specifically for the glutes but has been hailed as the new Thigh Master as it also targets and tones the thighs and abs.
After Hudson’s post about the Booty Belt, Banks claims he sold 200 belts in less than 24 hours – at $115 a piece.
“I had maybe $700 in the bank when the today show called me,” he told US Weekly. “It was in 2014, the weekend of the super bowl. They did a video – and that’s when the national boom happened.”
