Women in the ‘normal’ body mass index (BMI) range have a higher chance of conception.
2. Stub out ciggies
Smoking is toxic to a woman’s eggs and will continue to harm fertility even after she quits.
3. Limit lattes
Research has linked high caffeine consumption with delayed conception. One or two cups of coffee a day is considered a safe amount while you’re trying to conceive.
4. Practice safe sex
And get STI tested. Some infections, such as chlamydia and gonorrhea, can affect fertility. Both can be cleared up with antibiotics but early treatment is key.
