Which is why thousands of people around the world have shared the game-changing skincare routine that model, Brianna Lopez, says cured her cystic acne.
"I just wanted to make a little post about skin because I've struggled with mine so much, and I really feel like I need to stop pretending like I haven't," she wrote on Instagram.
"Especially in the industry I am trying to get into, it can be very deceiving about body image and skin. This is my skin at its worst on the lefts and now on the right. This was a hard time and I was very bothered by it. Didn't want to leave my room or even have my own parents look at me."
Her before and after images proved so popular that she shared the secret behind her transformation in a subsequent post.
"I'm not saying that everyone has to do this to have decent skin. Commercial products may work for some people. But it didn't for me. Just made things worse."
Instead, she uses:
- Jojoba oil
- A honey, cinnamon and turmeric face mask
- Lavender oil
- Raw Shea butter for spot treating
- Raw Elements sunblock
She revealed that she eats a pescetarian diet and also shared the additional herbs that helped get her skin under control, but recommended that her followers do their own research.
