Khloe Kardashian’s body transformation has been well documented and now her nutritionist has revealed exactly what she does, and definitely does not, eat everyday to maintain that rig.
Dr Philip Goglia is the co-founder of G-Plans – an online nutrition platform based on a user’s metabolic body type – which boasts clients like Ryan Gosling, Chris Hemsworth and Channing Tatum, as well as the 32-year-old Kardashian.
Healthista spoke to Goglia about the reality TV star’s diet, which features plenty of protein, fruits and vegetables eaten in seven meals throughout the day.
For breakfast, Khloe enjoys a shake made with one scoop of whey protein powder, one tablespoon of almond butter, a piece of fruit, ice and water.
She’ll then enjoy a piece of fruit for her second meal and chicken breast with iron rich vegetables like spinach and beetroot for her third meal.
Next it’s more vegetables. Khloe’s fourth meal is usually a cup of celery or tomatoes with a handful of almonds.
For her fifth meal, vegetables again. Celery or tomatoes with one egg.
Her sixth meal is basically dinner, featuring a piece of fatty fish like salmon, sea bass, black cod or arctic char, served with plenty of vegetables and salad.
Finally, her seventh meal – a piece of fruit of her choice.
Fortunately, she also gets to enjoy a cheat meal once a week.
“She has a pattern where she will do seven days on and then have one meal off,” Goglia told Healthista.
“Her choice of cheat would vary a great deal – maybe she'll have a slice of cake as dessert or a pizza or pasta dinner, basically whatever she has a craving for.”
The celebrity nutritionist also revealed the things Khloe avoids, which includes juice, dried fruit, dairy, soy, diet foods, fizzy drinks and multi-ingredient foods like bread, muffins or bagels.
