But, friends, this 500-rep challenge courtesy of fitness Queen Kayla Itsines had me - quite literally - begging for mercy. (My poor unsuspecting quads!)
Essentially, it involves doing multiple reps of 5 different exercises, then repeating until you get to 500. Think tricep dips, mountain climbers, dumbbell squats... you get the gist.
Set a timer before you start and once you've completed the list five times, press stop and record your results. The idea is to pace yourself at the start, then see how quickly you can build up your fitness!
1. Broad Jump x 15 Reps
2. Negative Tricep Dip x 15 Reps
3. Dumbbell Squat + Press x 15 Reps
4. Caterpillar Walk x 15 Reps
5. X Mountain Climbers x 40 Reps
