In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the actress and entrepreneur said she’s an “open book” when it comes to anti-ageing and injectables. The list of Hollywood actresses that have had cosmetic procedures is long and exhaustive, yet still the subject is rarely discussed. Even when their faces say otherwise, a number of Hollywood stars remain mute on the subject of ageing and what they do to stay so young - or at least how they continue to look the part. In contrast, Gwyneth doesn’t hide anything and thinks women should feel more comfortable and confident to discuss the choices they make in terms of beauty and their bodies.
“I just don’t believe that women should judge themselves or other women for the choices that they make,” Gwyneth told HelloGiggles.
“Whether they be beauty choices, or breastfeeding choices, or clothing choices, or whatever. I really feel that women should be allowed to make the choices in life that make them feel the most themselves and the most fully integrated.”
And as far as insecurities go, Gwyneth says she relies on meditation to help shake off such feelings. “There was a little class in forgiveness that I was listening to every day,” she said. “And I think that’s a really important part of getting to feel fully confident in yourself.”
