Georgia Gibbs, one half of the body positive movement Any Body Co, has shared her secret to sneaking in a workout while travelling and it’s a trick that plenty of celebs swear by.
She recently posted an Instagram video of her morning sweat sesh on the streets of New York, which involved lateral band walks.
“If you saw my story yesterday resistance bands are my best travel companion,” she captioned the post, “They weigh nothing and give you an epic burn!”
Plus, using a resistance band will activate your glutes properly, so you can strengthen your butt without other muscles overcompensating.
The 22-year-old model was training at The Dogpound – a gym that boasts fans like Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima and Romee Strijd.
But let's be real – you don’t need to go where the celebs go to stay fit while you’re on the road, just do as they do.
Resistance bands are a portable and far more affordable option for a hardcore, full body workout, with fans like Kourtney Kardashian, Emilia Clarke, Jennifer Lopez and Karlie Kloss, just to name a few. For just a few dollars, these stretchy bands give you the ability to do pretty much any strength exercise – chest presses, squats, shoulder presses, bicep curls, tricep extensions, rows and more – anywhere, without the need for heavy weights.
