Around in 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), an intestinal disorder that affects the functioning of the bowel.

Unfortunately, there is no known cause of IBS but in most cases, it is triggered by food intolerances, stress, lifestyle changes, medication and infections.
Don't stress, there is no proof of IBS leading to any sort of serious or long term bowel conditions but unfortunately, the disorder cannot be cured and only treated through correctional eating habits, certain medications and medical testing for food intolerances.
