But if you thought you’d seen it all, brace yourself: an Australian celebrity version of MAFS is in the works, according to reports from New Idea. It’s reported that MAFS producers are in preliminary conversations and casting chats about a season focused on Australian talent, including ex-reality stars.
“If we want the show to keep going, we need to be bold and change things up,” a producer anonymously told the publication.
Some of the names being offered up include I’m A Celeb contestant Ash Williams, Big Brother star Tully Smyth and Paulini Curuenavuli. The production company suggests that celebrities are approaching them, not the other way around, saying the concept “only became a possibility due to celebs in Australia already putting their hands up to take part in the experiment.”
This could just be the juiciest season yet.
