When you chat to mega-trainer Emily Skye, it’s easy to forget she’s estimated to be worth $36 million.
That Forbes named her one of the most influential fitness stars in the world. That she debuted on the Australian Financial Review’s Young Rich List in 2017. Or that she has Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on speed dial as one of her mentors.
But despite her success, the Gold Coast entrepreneur is warm and real, both in person and on social media: whether she’s opening up about food, fitness, mental health or her growing empire. Having given birth to her first baby, Mia, in December last year, Skye documented her entire pre- and post-pregnancy journey on Instagram, in an effort to change the conversation and empower other women.
In this revealing chat, we talk life, business, body image and the one fitness myth that she desperately wants women to stop believing.
