…At least for the next three months, that is.
Each quarter, global fashion search platform Lyst pours over data from more than six million products and five million shoppers in order #bless us with the deets of the most popular fashion items out.
And taking the top spot for women’s cross-trainers? The aforementioned kicks. Which, FYI, are actually modelled on The Nike Monarch I – a sneaker that debuted 20-odd years back but is still considered one of “the most undeniable heritage ‘dad shoes’ of all time.”
“For the M2K Tekno, we had fun infusing details that are contradictory to the Monarch I- using sleeker lasts to deliver everyday comfort and bringing a sharp/modern edge by adding a heel clip,” Jin Hong, senior footwear designer for Nike told Well & Good.
“It was an unexpected clash of old and new, which delivered something that felt relevant and unique for 2018.”
And the best part? They won’t break the bank.
The M2k Tekno retails at just $164 on ASOS. Run, don’t walk, ppl.
