We have all been told time and time again not to stress and obsess over the number on the scales but its just so hard not to… You might think that seeing a smaller number on the scale is the best result Kelsey Wells from My Sweat Life is just about to prove you wrong, showing us why we should never hop on the scales again.
Kelsey has spent the past 18 months doing the Kayla Itsines’s BBG program and her hard work and determination has definitely paid off. This isn’t like the typical weight loss success stories you hear of, if anything Kelsey has actually gained weight loss, the proof is in the pictures.
In the Instagram she shared three very different photos of herself at three very different weights 145lbs (65.7kg), 122lbs (55.3kg) and 140lbs (63.5kg). In her latest picture weighing in at 63.5kg she not only looks fitter but had more muscle definition than she did at a lighter weight.
She urged her 299K followers to “Stop getting hung up on the number on the stupid scales.”
Her inspirational post “Stop thinking your weight equals your progress and… (let) your weight have any affect whatsoever on your self esteem.
The proud mother started the BBG just 8 weeks after giving birth.
"Thank goodness I finally learned to start measuring my progress by things that matter—strength, ability, endurance, health, and happiness"
We couldn’t agree more! Its time that more people focussed on healthy as a lifestyle not just a silly number. #screwthescale
