If our bathroom cabinets and kitchen pantries are anything to go by, there’s an obvious trend towards using naturally-derived ingredients in our health and beauty regimes. And while the food we eat and the products we slather on our faces are getting plenty of attention, it’s time to turn your focus to arguably our biggest asset: our smiles. And here’s some news that will have you grinning. ecostore have just released a sparkling new Oral Care range made from naturally-derived ingredients. So we can now harness the power of nature to clean our teeth, whiten our pearlers, freshen our breath and help protect our gums. And the best bit? We can feel safe in the knowledge that these smile enhancers work!
Here’s what you need to know about the new ecostore range (and why we’re smiling!):
1/ It’s the complete smile kit
The new ecostore Oral Care range includes Complete Care Toothpaste, Whitening Toothpaste and Complete Care Mouthwash (this is actually one of few naturally-derived mouthwashes available in the market). But of course, you can add an ecostore earth-friendly toothbrush to your toiletry bag too (ecostore’s toothbrushes are BPA-free and the handle is made from 99% plant-based materials).
2/ It works
Just as important as being earth-friendly is the all-important question on our lips … does it work? And the sweet answer is YES! With more than 25 years’ experience creating naturally-derived products that are safer for us and our world, ecostore is a success story because their products work. And this new range is no different. In creating their very first Oral Care range, ecostore have conducted independent research to test their range as effective in cleaning teeth and helping to protect your gums for oral health.
3/ The ingredients are naturally-derived
And not only that, but they are some of our favourite ingredients. The range includes other naturally-derived ingredients that we’d never heard about, too, that have amazing properties.
Here’s a quick lesson to get you up to speed:
Magnolia bark extract
Magnolia bark has actually been a powerhouse in traditional medicine use for centuries (used primarily as a natural remedy for calming anxiety and to promote sleep), and this natural extract has also been shown to support oral health.
Kanuka oil has a long list of incredible properties (similar to tea tree but Kanuka has a milder scent) but the star benefit is its antibacterial properties.
Natural essential oils
When it comes to sweet smelling breath, you can’t beat peppermint, spearmint and clove leaf oil – all of which provide a long-lasting freshness.
4/ What it DOESN’T contain is just as important
We’d rather focus on the positives but it’s important to cover all bases when it comes to talking ‘naturally-derived products’, so here’s a list of ingredients that you WON’T see in the range:
SLS, triclosan, fluoride, alcohol, parabens, synthetic dyes and artificial sweeteners.
