"I was the first celebrity he shot. I love his work. I love that I can stand bald and 30 pounds heavier today than that first shoot almost 20 years ago," Selma captioned it. "I love that he can still see the intensity in my eyes with the first click. He makes me feel like I can be. And he makes it look so damn strong. @brianbowensmith I love you."
While the majority of the feedback the post received was overwhelmingly positive (heaps of people praised her strength in such a sucky situation), there was one nasty troll who remarked that Selma had “the most bizarre hairline” they’d ever seen. Cue: eyeroll.
Despite the comment being seriously insensitive and just plain unnecessary, Selma wasn’t fazed at all. She clapped back in the classiest way, writing: “That is true.”
Immediately, fans leapt to her defence: "I've actually always loved your hairline!" someone wrote. “Gosh! Be a little more delicate next time, that is free,” added another.
Bottom line: reserve the judgement. The fact that Selma is ~feeling~ her new look - and managing to stay positive - is all that matters here. Keep doing you, Sel.
