There are fit people and then there’s Sarah Hyland.

The Modern Family actress is currently counting down the days until her upcoming nuptials to Wells Adams. And, tbh, that means one thing: the wed shred has well and truly begun.

“Prep for a secret shoot next week!” the 29-year-old captioned a clip of herself mid-workout via IG stories. “But let’s be real. The end goal is wedding body ready.”

In the video, taken at LA celeb hotspot Dogpound, the actress and her trainer can be seen doing a series of arm, butt and ab exercises. On the menu? Reverse split squats with a barbell, kettlebell rows on a bench, hip raises on a medicine ball and forward falls with resistance.

“These are SO much harder than they look but get a good 🍑[butt] ya gotta work them 🐖[ham] strings,” she added.

After a second post-kidney transplant hospital stay took its toll on her mental health, Sarah’s slowly starting to find her groove at the gym again.

“I haven’t really been able to work out the past four months,” she told People magazine in April 2019. “It’s just been putting me in a more anxiety-ridden place. You have all of these plans and something happens where you’re not able to do it.”

And, now that she’s back on the bandwagon, she’s got one goal in mind: strong > skinny.

“I love to be STRONG. (I’ll be using that word a lot) Strength is everything. Being strong has gotten me where I am. Both mentally and physically. I am not a fan of ‘being skinny,'" she wrote on Twitter.
