The actress recently posted a graphic-yet-fascinating video of neck surgery that she underwent several months ago.
"To everyone asking about my new Pez dispenser scar on my neck…A couple of months ago I was told I needed an emergency surgery or I was risking becoming paralysed," Rose explained in her caption. "I had herniated two discs doing stunts, and they were close to severing my spinal chord. I was in chronic pain and yet couldn’t feel my arms."
Rose also jokingly added that she recorded the surgery because of Grey's Anatomy. "Did you not watch that Grey's Anatomy episode where they left a towel in a patient?? Also I wanted to see what happens when we go under," she wrote.
Rose didn't specify what project she was filming when she got injured, but fans suspect that it was Batwoman, as the actress has been busy working on the upcoming CW series for the past year. The show will follow Kate Kane, a.k.a Batwoman, as she seeks justice for Gotham.
But as Us Weekly reports, this actually isn't Rose's first spinal surgery. Rose also had surgery in January 2018 to correct an ongoing spinal issue that had been bothering her for years, and she was wheelchair-bound while she recovered.
