When it comes to weird celebrity brekkie habits we’ve pretty much heard it all. Between Gwyneth’s $200 morning smoothie and Pete Evans’ preference for pate and caviar, every day it seems we’re served another unrealistic health endorsement.

But Pippa Middleton’s go-to order is something we can get behind: it’s simple, nutritious and lucky for us mere mortals, it won’t break the bank. 

“I always have breakfast,” she told iNews. “I can’t start the day properly without it.” 

“My usual breakfast is either plain yoghurt with chopped fruit and toasted seeds, oats and nuts or toasted rye bread with eggs or avocado.”

And for those on-the-go times? Pippa recommends Bircher muesli topped with fresh berries. “You can even make a batch for the whole week,” she said.

Protein-packed, fibre-rich and full of good fats, there’s no doubting the Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister is our new health inspiration. But if you needed any further proof, consider this: she called out pancakes with bacon and maple syrup as the one meal she’d never eat. 

“That certainly doesn’t do it for me,” she added. Food for thought.
