Looking for a refreshing breakfast option with a side of anti-inflammatory properties? Created by chef to the stars, Sergio Perera, and featured in Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky's new wellness app Centr – this Pineapple, Coconut & Turmeric Smoothie ticks all the tasty boxes. 

 

Ingredients

½ cup (125ml) coconut milk

½ cup (125ml) water

1 banana

95g pineapple diced

¼ cup (25g) rolled oats (if gluten-free, use brown rice flakes or quinoa flakes)

50g natural protein powder

1 tsp ground turmeric

1/2 tsp ground ginger

4-6 ice cubes

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!
