That's why Nike has created the Nike Air Zoom Pulse collection – a range of shoes that suit the demands of working in a hospital environment. Nike describes the design as similar to a traditional clog but with an athletic twist, combining the comfort needed for long stretches standing and the versatility required for quick movement in emergency situations.
Key elements include:
- A laceless design with an elastic strap around the heel, which makes the shoes super flexible and easy to get in and out of on the go.
- An easy to clean protective coating to ward off spills
- A durable, full-rubber outsole with a specific water-dispersive tread for plenty of grip
The shoes were tried and tested at the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon and will hopefully be stocked in Australian stores ASAP.
