What exactly is milk tea hair?
Technically speaking, the term is used to describe a neutral hair shade between brown and blonde - a variation on last season's bronde trend, milk tea is the 2019 way to melt brown and blonde shades together.
"When asking your colourist for something similar, you want to stress that you're looking for a colour melt look that starts more warm-toned at the root but transitions to ash on the ends," hairstylist Olivia Smalley revealed.
"The key here is making sure there is a complete elimination of gold on those lighter ends while maintaining gold on the roots."
