It begs the question: how does one get so toned lying horizontally? Firstly, Miley’s a huge fan of ashtanga, a physically demanding style of yoga that helps build core strength and flexibility (she practices six days a week.) She’s also on the Pilates bandwagon and installed a home-studio specifically so her instructor Mari Winsor can do personal classes (because, paparazzi.)
Speaking with PEOPLE, Windsor previously said their sessions last roughly half an hour.
"You have to learn how to not just tighten up your tummy but actually pull your tummy in to your lower back as much as you can,” she said. "Just doing 40 crunches a day isn’t gonna do it for you."
Miley also lives a strict plant-based lifestyle – she’s even got the Vegan Society’s sunflower logo tattooed on her arm.
"By not consuming animal products over the years I have protected myself from preventable diseases," Miley told Harper's Bazaar Australia.
