RELATED: So *That’s* Why Meghan Markle’s Started Wearing Such A Slicked Back Bun
Here she is sharing a giggle with her SIL on stage:

And again…
And again…
Obviously, it makes her look poised and dignified in the presence of fellow royals (probs something that’s been drummed into her since earning her Duchess title.) But body language expert Blanca Cobb reckons it’s not the whole story - speaking with Cosmo UK, she explained that this particular stance would give Megs a sense of security.
"What happens when you stand a lot? You have a go-to move, something that makes you feel comfortable, and it becomes a habit," she told the publication. "It becomes part of you, and you don't think about it anymore—particularly for someone who's in the spotlight.”
“It's almost like an invisible shield—like a barrier to protect herself,” she added. “Her hands are clasped to give herself some more comfort and certainty when she's in the spotlight."
Intriguingly, Kate Middleton has adopted a similar move, although her hands rest a little lower. Which is why Blanca believes Meghan may have worked with a coach to perfect her Duchess pose.
"Her hands aren't flapping in the wind, she's holding her hands together,” she said. “A lot of people will use a body language coach to help them send off an image because they want to be perceived in a certain way."
Now we know.
