The happy news comes after the couple suffered a miscarriage in June of this year when Byrne was seven weeks pregnant. She fell pregnant again, just a few weeks later taking them both by surprise. “We’d heard so many stories about how it had been so difficult for some people and obviously we thought it was going to be difficult for me because of what had already happened,” Laura told The Daily Telegraph.
“When you’ve had a miscarriage, you worry if there is something wrong with you," she admits. “It is not something that people really talk about but actually one in four pregnancies end that way, you just don’t hear about it.”
Back in June, Matty revealed that a proposal might be imminent. "Marriage is on the cards too – but we don't want to rush anything," the former Marketing manager told Now To Love.
