Lizza Gebilagin is Women’s Health deputy editor by day and boxer by night (and early morning).

She first got a taste of magazines, pop culture, and the power of storytelling by working for Rolling Stone. Since then she’s been deputy editor of body+soul (where she experienced a career high by scoring an exclusive interview with Arnold Schwarzenegger), Cleo and Dolly magazines.

Lizza started social enterprise Corker Media Pty Ltd in 2007 to help promote the work of Australian creatives, for which she won the Project Achievement Award at the School for Social Entrepreneurs in May 2012. In 2013 she completed a TV Presenting course at NIDA and has since been the face of Women’s Fitness TV and Cleo’s MMA documentary Fight Like A Girl.

She’s also represented the NSW state boxing team at national level competitions and is currently completing her Certificate III in Fitness.
