Back in 2016, an innocent snap of her son at the beach quickly led to an onslaught of criticism, with many on social media claiming he was “too skinny.” The 31-year-old took the high road though, clapping back at all the haters who dared question her parenting skills:
“Yep, I starve my children. Just blocked the most people I’ve ever blocked in my entire life. Happy 4th hahaha.” she wrote.
But after she released her new gluten, dairy and refined sugar-free cookbook, Kristin was forced to defend herself once more.
“How I eat, I cook at home and that’s what they eat,” she told PEOPLE. “But we go out to breakfast every weekend. They get donuts every weekend. It’s not like they’re on some stupid diet. They’re kids.”
She went on to add that what she chooses to feed Camden, 5, Jaxon, 4, and Saylor, 2, is no one else’s business but hers.
“Getting backlash about anything I’m doing when it comes to parenting, I really don’t give a sh*it about because I’m so confident at what I’m doing as a mum that I don’t care.”
Keep fighting the good fight, Kristin. We’ve got your back.
