If you’re a fan of the Kardashian clan, you’d know that Kourtney is a serious health nut. She has an enviable dedication to fitness, never gives in to temptation and her organic diet is (always) squeaky clean.
But considering after three kids her abs are as enviable as ever, whenever she dishes up wellness advice, we’re all ears. Especially when it comes to her sweat sesh prep.
“Most mornings I’ll take collagen powder on an empty stomach first thing and then have a shake before I workout,” she revealed in a post on her app.
“If I want to mix it up, I’ll have this avocado pudding, since it’s packed with healthy fats and fibres.”
And just when it all started sounding a little too ~Hollywood~, Kourt dropped a brekkie option we can really get behind.
“Sometimes, I’ll even make chia pudding the night before and top with my favourite seeds, nuts and fruits,” she wrote.
Coz chia seeds are packed with inflammation-reducing omega-3 fatty acids and fibre to keep you full, this makes it the perf pre-workout fuel.
“[They] are proven to help with weight loss and give you a natural boost of energy – which helps avoid a sugar crash,” she added.

1/3 cup chia seeds
1 cup almond milk
2 teaspoons agave syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a medium bowl, gently whisk the almond milk, agave syrup and vanilla extract until just blended.
- Whisk in the chia seeds; let stand 30 minutes. Stir to distribute the seeds if they have settled. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- The next day, spoon the pudding into 4 bowls or glasses.
- Mound the various combinations on top and serve.
