While most of us would love to write off Kim K’s butt as a surgically enhanced asset, it turns out she actually puts a lot of work into keeping that thing looking it’s best.

Speaking with Women’s Health, her trainer Melissa Alcantara, revealed exactly how many man hours are put in at the gym (hint: it’s a lot.)

“When it comes to booty and legs, we usually work out for an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes,” she said, adding that it’s longer than they’d dedicate to the back, biceps or abs coz “the legs are a large muscle group and need extra time to recover and rest in between sets otherwise you won’t be able to get as many reps in in the next round.” 

It’s also super important to switch up which body part you work out each day to give your muscles, nerves and tissue a chance to rebuild (which is when the gains happen.) “You don’t want to go too hard or overwork that muscle, otherwise it doesn’t have time to recover and grow,” Melissa explained. 

So, what does Kim’s average lower body sweat sesh comprise of, you ask?! 

Mostly, a sh*t ton of squats. 

In her Insta stories earlier this week, the 37-year-old walked her 116 mil followers through one of her workouts with Melissa.

“Alright, we’re doing lower body today,” she said, captioning the vid “1000 squats today.” 

1000, ppl… just let that sink in.

Next up, deadlifts. And at one point, the mum-of-two even showed off a bite mark in one of the pieces of gym equipment she was using (coz, dedication.) 

“Do you guys see my bite mark right here? When I do this hamstring curl machine hurts so bad that I have to bite the machine to get through it… but we did it… and we’re done.”

Clearly, all that hard work has been paying off. There’s no denying, the girl looks geewwwwd rn.
