Healthy Hacks: How To Make Crispy Kale Chips

Looking for a savoury snack that doubles as a superfood? We’ve got you sorted. In this week’s Healthy Hack video we show you how to make crispy kale chips – a great healthy snack option for when hangry-ness hits.

Here’s what you’ll need. 


  • One bunch of kale
  • 2 tbsps of olive oil
  • Pinch of salt flakes
  • tbsp of smoked paprika


  • Pre-heat your oven to 150 degrees celcius 
  • Wash the kale, strip the leaves off the stalk and tear into small pieces
  • Spread the leaves across a tray and the olive oil across the leaves
  • Massage the oil into the kale and sprinkle the spice and salt across the leaves
  • Bake the kale chips for 20 minutes or until brown and crispy
