Jessie J Just Called Out ‘Fans’ For Editing Her Face In Photos

There are few things in life that can instantly dampen the spirits. Flat kombucha, for one. But when you’re a major celeb, there are bigger scale buzzkills to worry about, like having hundreds of people suggest your face is flawed. Needless to say, Jessie J isn’t gonna let her shamers get away with it.

Via IG stories, the singer shared that she’s recently been noticing more and more pictures posted by so-called ‘fans’ where her features are heavily edited.

“My nose is often made smaller pointy, my chin is smaller, my lips are bigger. PLEASE STOP EDITING MY FACE,” she wrote.

“I look like what I look like. I like my face, flaws and all. If you don’t like my face the way it is. Then don’t post pictures of it.” Preach.

The whole calling-out-trolls thing isn’t new for Jessie, who, btw, is cool with how her whole body looks sans retouching. In MarchSarah Hyland Just Called Out Body-Shamers In The Most Epic Way, she posted a bikini photo to Instagram, captioning it: “Oh and for those telling me I have cellulite. I know. I own a mirror.”

She’s not the only celeb either. Amy Schumer, Rhonda Rousey and Lili Reinhart have all spoken up about seeing retouched snaps of themselves on social media.

The point? Lumps, bumps and imperfect features are normal. Period. And no one should ever feel as though their being shamed because of it.
