“Just another Tuesday… After work workout,” she captioned her latest post – a video of herself barely breaking a sweat while doing a set of leg presses.

At the start of the clip, Lopez's trainer, Dodd Romero, adjusts the weight on the machine so that it's loaded with three 20kg plates on each side. Meaning she’s pushing 120kgs in total #nobiggie.
"I got it," J.Lo says, to which Dodd responds, "Okay, it's heavy." She then proceeds to smash out 10 reps and wink at the camera… What. A. Weapon!
“Because this exercise works big muscle groups—your glutes, hamstrings, and quads—it should be one of the first lower-body exercises you complete at the gym," Laura Arndt CEO of Matriarc, a pre- and postnatal fitness app, previously told Shape. The leg press is also a good variation for the squat press, as it works similar body parts without putting too much strain on your lower back and knees. (Bonus tip: If you want extra burn in your glutes and hamstrings, focus on digging your heels into the machine as you go.)
The idea by lifting heavier and doing fewer reps is to increase muscle mass, which helps to elevate the metabolism. Translation? You’ll be burning cals long after you’ve wrapped up your sweat sesh. Little wonder why Jen is so insanely ripped!
