She might be contractually obliged to have a camera-ready rig at all times, but if J-Law has a craving for carbs, she’s sure as sh*t gonna indulge it.
“I don’t like it when people say, ‘I only do this or eat this.’ Because I eat,” she admitted in a recent interview with Vogue. “I’m not very strict with my diet: if I want a piece of pizza, I eat a piece of pizza.”
Which begs the question, how does she manage to stay in such great shape?!
“I do workout more than normal because I have a certain way that I want to look, and a way that I want to fit into my clothes,” she said.
“I get photographed when I’m not asking for it, so there’s added pressure to look and feel your best. For me, it’s easier to put that extra effort into the gym instead of putting the extra effort into: ‘Oh no, I can’t eat that.’”
According to the publication, Jen works out for 90 minutes each day with her Red Sparrow Trainer Kit Rich. These sweat sessions generally involve a combo of cardio and pilates using only body weight for resistance.
But to be clear, her aim isn’t to trim down. Speaking with Elle back in 2012, the actress said she’d rather look “fit and strong” over “thin and underfed.”
“I eat like a caveman,” she added.
