In an essay for Well + Good, the 30-year-old admitted she likes to mix things up for brekkie (bye, food boredom.) But there is one thing she considers non-negotiable:
“No matter what time I wake up, the first thing I do is drink an entire glass of water, usually with a slice of lemon.”
Next on the menu, is “eggs with a little cheese and Ezekiel toast or oatmeal with some almond butter and golden raisins.” And, (coz human) she’s alllll about bacon.
“I love bacon - I’m definitely not frugal when it comes to the bacon,” she wrote. “Coffee is always a priority too. I use real cow’s milk. Just a little skim milk tastes so good. I usually have my first cup fresh while it’s hot then put the rest of the pot in the fridge to make my second – or sometimes third if it’s necessary – cup iced.”

While she’s chowing down, she also takes her supplements. “I’m embarrassed to say this, but I’m like my son when it comes to pills – I don’t like taking them at all. So, I break ‘em open and pour them into my food, just like a multivitamin or something else – it kind of changes seasonally.”
Then, she reaches for a green juice (or rather, a scoop of SuperGreens powder in water.) “It smells super gross, but when I’m working and I know I’m not getting enough vegetables, it gives me all the nutrients I might be missing,” she explained.
The Duffmeister is also on the ACV bandwagon, although her method of consumption is a little, erm… intense.
“I’ve been really into apple cider vinegar – I just shoot it straight in the morning,” she said. “People think it’s gross but I kinda like the taste.”
Seems like a lotta work tbh.
