After a big night of beauty sleep give your skin an extra kick at breakfast with this simple smoothie recipe. On this week's Healthy Hacks we show you how to make a bev that'll help you glow thanks to a sneaky ingredient... tofu. Yep, research has found that the isoflavones found in soy can improve skin elasticity and reduce fine wrinkles. And trust us, you won't be able to taste it at all.

Ingredients

  • 1 large Granny Smith apple, cubed
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 250 grams of silken tofu 
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground cardamom​

Method

  • Place all of the ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth.
  • The smoothie is a thick one so stop the blender and scrape down sides of blender if needed. 
  • Pour into two glasses
