“A run. Just going for a run and getting fresh air, even if it's a walk. Ninety percent of the time I can't work out unless I have music. And that 10 percent or maybe even 5 percent is when I just need fresh air, silence, or the birds and everything nature.”
The Mission activewear ambassador – who is currently on tour with Katy Perry – says she has to adapt her workout routine depending on her busy work schedule.
"My workout routine changes all the time based on where I am and what I have access to. I'll travel with resistance bands and a jump rope in my bag so that I don't necessarily need a gym,” she previously told Shape.
But sometimes exercise is the last thing she feels like doing after finishing work, fortunately there’s one motivating factor that gets her out the door and pounding pavement.
“The thought of going for a run or going to the gym is just, like, painful,” she told Well + Good. “But there’s something about the feeling you have right after it’s over.”
“If I’m not necessarily in the mood, I’m like, think about how you’re going to feel afterward.”
Bring on those endorphins.
