Gal Gadot Credits Planks With Sculpting Her Impressive Six-Pack

The fitness world is awash with conflicting advice (eat more of these, cut out that, move this way for this long… get the picture?!) But there’s one thing experts seemingly all agree on: changing up your routine will get you serious gains.

Actress Gal Gadot clearly got the memo. In fact, in a new interview with Health, the Wonder Woman 1984 star admitted it was her secret to staying fighting fit.

"I found that whenever I do one thing for too long a period of time, I get bored of it, so then I stop and then I do nothing, so now I’m proactively changing,” she said.

Conveniently, each role the 34-year-old lands requires different training methods, which helps to keep her interested - as well as ridiculously ripped. For this specific flick, she focused on her strength, flexibility and cardio.

You gotta sweat for it, right?

"Mix all of that together; it’s interesting and it’s fun at times—but it’s a lot," she said, adding that these sweat sessions were “super intense, demanding and exhausting.”

"First of all, you work out hours a day, which is not something that we’re used to be doing.”

For Death on the Nile, she took a more chill approach to training (e.g. Pilates and yoga,) while her upcoming movie Red Notice is all about cardio. "I enjoy, you know, challenging my body," she added.

But despite her hectic schedule, Gal never skips a workout, even if it means doing planks on-the-go.

“When I travel and I don't want to go downstairs to the hotel’s gym, I would do a lot of planks in my room," she shared. "I feel like that helps everything, especially abdominal work, but also the rest of the core muscles around it, so I'm a big fan of planks."

With a six-pack like that, consider us converted.
