FYI: This Robot Is The Best Thing You’ll Ever Buy For Your Home

Some weeks feel like they go on forever, yet weekends fly by in the blink of an eye. Do you ever get to Sunday night and feel like all you’ve done all weekend were chores? Or on the flipside it’s Monday and your home already looks like Armageddon? Maybe it’s time to take a look at new ways you can spend less time cleaning, claim back your time, all while still keeping your home under control.

Grab yourself a robot

This could be the smartest gadget you ever buy for your home because you won’t have to think about vacuuming for weeks at a time. Roomba® vacuuming robots are powered by a full suite of smart sensors that automatically guide the robot around your home. The robot makes 60 decisions every second, navigating under furniture and around clutter to thoroughly clean your floors, and the specially angled rubber brushes get right into corners where crumbs, pet hair and dust can gather.

Connected cleaning

This little guy happily goes about its business, whether you’re home or not. It learns to map out your home so it knows where high traffic areas are, and it can even differentiate between surfaces. You’re in control of where it goes (and can tell it what it should avoid), plus it has a nifty detection system that stops it from taking a tumble down stairs or over ledges. Its battery life is pretty impressive too, with 90 minutes of consistent cleaning before it takes itself back to its dock to recharge.

You can schedule the Roomba i7 to clean at regular times, or just connect to it when you need to using WIFI via your iRobot HOME App. If you have Alexa* or Google Home**, you simply ask your Home assistant to start, stop, or dock your Roomba. The app lets you monitor its cleaning activity, view its cleaning history, and watch maintenance videos and it also updates your robot with the latest software, so it’s always up-to-date with new features.

The low-maintenance life

Your little robot even empties on its own. With a first-of-its-kind dirt disposal function it automatically empties the contents of its dust bin into its Clean Base. Doubling as the robot’s charging station, the Clean Base takes the dirty work out of vacuuming, storing debris in an enclosed bag, and trapping dirt, dust and hair so it can’t escape into the air. When the bag is full, it’ll let you know via the iRobot HOME App. You simply pull it out of the Clean Base and replace it with a new one. The bag can hold 30 bins of debris, so you don’t have to think about vacuuming for weeks at a time.

So, all you have to do now is decide what you’re going to do instead!
