The Bakers Delight "Every Fun Bun Counts" campaign was launched on Thursday to raise funds for breast cancer research.
Its imagery features ten cancer survivors, nine of them women, with posters on display in Bakers Delight stores across the country.
But Facebook has disabled the campaign's presence on its platform, claiming that the ads featuring topless women strategically holding buns in front of their chests are in violation of its nudity policy.
Kate Murray told Seven's Sunrise the decision was insulting.
"I thought the images were beautiful and tasteful," she said. "It's insulting they banned them when they livestream mass murder and homophobic diatribes. It's insane they would ban something so thoughtful and supportive as this campaign."
When the campaign launched, breast cancer survivor Lindsey Kennedy said it was intended to raise awareness in a fun way.
"We're hoping to achieve lots of attention and raise awareness about how yucky breast cancer can be and raise lots of money ... and have fun along the way," she said.
The pink buns are on sale in Bakers Delights stores with all funds raised going to Breast Cancer Network Australia.
