2 frozen bananas (peel them before you freeze them)
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
2 tablespoons maple syrup (or sweetener of your choice)
1 teaspoon raw cacao nibs
1 tablespoon crushed
walnuts, activated if possible
1 teaspoon bee pollen (optional)
edible flowers (optional)
Pop the avocado, bananas, cacao powder and maple syrup in a blender and process until super smooth. Pulse a couple of times to make sure you process any last little chunks of avo.
Combine the topping ingredients in a separate small bowl. Pour the smoothie into serving glasses or bowls and sprinkle over the topping.
TIP: Experiment with different toppings – macadamia nuts and goji berries work well, or even just a sprinkle of shredded or desiccated coconut.
