Larson hangs onto a set of sandbag tubes that are propped on the ceiling and does four pull-ups-to-knee tucks, bringing her chin over her hands. This exercise works her arms, back, shoulders, and abs, making it a total-body move. "Messing around with new grips, building grip strength," Larson wrote in the caption.

This isn't the first time we've seen Larson capture her gruelling workouts. As she prepared for her role as Carol Danvers in the original Captain Marvel—the first female-led superhero film by Marvel, Larson worked with celebrity trainer Jason Walsh, CSCS, who put her through an intense nine-month training plan.
Throughout her training, Larson worked with a variety of strength training equipment, including resistance bands, stability balls, and barbells. She even pushed a 2,267 kg with a full tank of gas.
While it's not clear when Captain Marvel 2 is set to release, fans are speculating that Larson has already started training for the role. The last time Larson trained for Captain Marvel, she said she had spent a lot of time at the gym before she stepped foot on set.
"A lot of training first came from the fact that I knew I was doing an action movie, and I was going to have to do stunts. I didn't know what that was, but I knew in movies like this it was going to feel like a triathlon—and I wanted to be ready for it," Larson told E! News.
Larson's superhero debut proved that her workouts have definitely paid off, and we can't wait to see her tear up the screen again!
