Essentially, Ashley’s traded in her dirty blonde hair for a rich chocolate hue and, most importantly, cut it to her chin. According to her hairstylist Marc Mena, it was a totally tactical move.
"Ashley wanted to gradually ease out of her extensions, so when we did the 'clavicle bob' a few months ago, we cut her hair to get rid of the old ends from years of colour and damage," he told Refinery29. Next, they removed her extensions and, evidently, Ash was pretty darn stoked about it!
"This is the first time I’ve never had extensions in my whole life," she said on her Insta stories. "I'm so excited."
The actress isn’t the only celeb who is feeling change ahead of a new decade: Just last week, Miley waved goodbye to her trademark tresses in favour of a modern mullet. Then, Ariana Grande posted a snap embracing her natural curls. Something in the water?! Whatever it is, we're inspired.
