The 82-year-old from Rochester, New York was preparing for bed when she reportedly heard a stranger at her door yelling: “I’m sick, I’m sick.”
Understandably suss, she kept her door shut and called the police.
“I hear a loud noise, I’m thinking, ‘What the heck was that?'” she told WHAM-TV. “The young man is in my home. He broke the door.”
“I picked up the table, and I went to work on him,” she continued. “The table broke… And when he’s down, I’m jumping on him.”

Murphy's next weapon of choice was a bottle of shampoo.
"Guess what? He’s still on the ground,” she said. “In his face, all of it, the whole thing.”
Next up, the broom.
“He’s pulling the broom. I’m hitting him with the broom.”
The police – who had stayed on the line through out – arrived shortly after and took the intruder to hospital.
Murphy previously told ESPN that she's a regular at her local YMCA, where she bench presses, dead lifts and curls three days a week.
"A lot of older people, they're into swimming, yoga, tai chi, various other things,” she told the publication. “But I guess I'm just unusual because I'm into natural powerlifting."
