Gaga works out with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak to help tone her body and get the shredded abs she’s known for. Pasternak regularly puts Gaga through an intense 25-minute circuit three days a week, with an added 30 minutes of cardio. She loves yoga and also does gyro tonics, a workout that utilises the “Gyrotoner” machine to increase range of motion, improve strength and movement efficiency.
As a dancer, Dewan has always known the importance of fitness in her life but with two children, she’s had to adapt her workout routine to her busy lifestyle and own body changes. Her exercise of choice currently is pilates, in which Dewan does three to four one-hour private sessions a week with her instructor, Kim Carruthers. Along with planks and ab exercises, the pair also work on incorporate full body motions that define her mid-section.
Miley possesses one of the most defined abs in the music industry. It’s no secret that the star is ripped and has made fitness a priority in her life. A dedicated yogi, Miley practices Ashtanga - a physically demanding style of yoga that specifically helps with core strength and flexibility - six days a week.

There are three elements: the basic plank, the side plank and the prone sky dive, all of which are positions Kate can hold for 45 seconds or longer and repeat at least ten times each.”
Gomez’s trainer Amy Rosoff Davis revealed that the 27-year-old star has a surprisingly simple workout regime that she sticks to. Gomez tends to do regular kickboxing classes and also enjoys yoga and Ashtanga, as well as jump rope and some cardio. In doing so, Gomez has crafted abs of steel. Favourite moves include core strength exercises that also incorporate the arms and butt, like second position plies, stacked leg lifts and inchworms with shoulder taps.
As her trainer explains, “A lot of people don’t know that you need to do some sort of cardio and some sort of toning to get results.” Davis added, “To build musculature and get your metabolism working, you have to do some of those toning moves. But cardio you need for your endurance and stamina and to burn calories.”
Her abs are the envy of all on Instagram, but Pia Miller works hard for her defined torso. Her fitness regime is one that incorporates exercise like pilates and yoga, making the time to work out while being a mum with a busy career. She explains, “I try and make a yoga class once a week and the rest I’ll do on my mat at home.”
